A Sunny Sale In Ohio To Tom Susman

A pair of stations serving a host of small towns along the Ohio River roughly an hour south of Parkersburg, W. Va., are being traded.

Consider it a “sunset” for one broadcaster, and two new broadcast properties for an individual known for his partnership in Vandalia Media Partners, licensee of an AM radio station in the region.

For $250,000, Tom Susman (pictured) is acquiring WNTO-FM 93.1, a Class A in Racine, Ohio, and Class D WJEH-AM 990 in Gallipolis, Ohio, from Sunny Broadcasting.

That’s the company led by Tina Diddle.

An asset purchase agreement has not yet posted to the FCC’s database.

Serving as the broker of record in this transaction are Jason James and Susan Patrick of Patrick Communications.
