The buyer is Carpenter Broadcasting, led by Dennis Carpenter and based in Ramsey, Minn.
A $3,000 purchase price was agreed upon.
Grand Portage is 34 miles northeast of the city of Grand Marais and five miles southwest of the Canada–United States border.
