Going to a new owner is WYPJ-FM 95.3 in Due South, and the buyer is Lake Hartwell Radio.
An entity named RFPJY LLC is selling the facility, and is earning $280,000 for the transaction.
A $25,000 deposit is being held by Jorgenson Broadcast Brokerage.
RFPJY is led by Frank Neely, while the buyer is helmed by Doug Sutton Jr., a 50% stockholder in Lake Hartwell.
Serving as the seller’s legal counsel is Susan Marshall of Fletcher Heald & Hildreth.
Sutton also owns WRBN-FM in Clayton, Ga., and WFSC-AM & WNCC-FM in Franklin, N.C., through Sutton Radiocasting Corp., and WHTD-AM in Elberton, WNEG-AM in Toccoa & WSCG-FM in Tignall, Ga. through Georgia-Carolina Radiocasting Co.
He has 50% interest in the licensees of WGOG-FM in Walhalla, S.C., and WSNW-AM in Seneca, S.C., respectively.
