A 1kw AM with 1 tower serving the city of Augusta, Ga., is presently silent.
It will soon be brought back to life by a community religious organization.
For $350,000, Covenant Community Ministries is acquiring WEZO-AM 1230 in Augusta from MSButtoni LLC.
A $10,000 cash deposit is being made to the seller.
The assignee holds no other broadcast interests.
WEZO had been a Gospel station, branded as “The Blaze.”
Previous formats included Talk and, before March 1, 2013, Adult Standards.
