A Second Chance for Media Ownership

US CongressA congressional media ownership hearing has been re-scheduled for Dec. 3.


The House Communications and Technology Subcommittee hearing on broadcast media ownership in the 21st Century was cut short when then-House Speaker John Boehner unexpectedly resigned on Sept. 25.

The hearing was re-set for Oct. 21, only to be delayed again. Representatives from NAB, MMTC, the Newspaper Association of America, the National Hispanic Media Coalition, Digital Content Next and Common Cause are expected to testify.
