In mid-April, RBR+TVBR first reported on the desire of Roger S. Haddon — known across the radio broadcasting industry for his time as a Music Director, as a Program Director and as the President/CEO of the Sunbury Broadcasting Corp. — to part ways with one of his properties.
That deal closed. Now, a fresh asset sale agreement has been struck between that buyer and the licensee bringing Christian Contemporary Music to more listeners than anyone else in the U.S.
K-LOVE Inc. has agreed to purchase Class A WVLY-FM in Milton, Pa., serving an area of Pennsylvania just east of Bloomsburg and just south of Williamsport, from Vic Michael‘s Michael Radio Company LLC.
A $200,000 purchase price has been agreed to.
That’s intriguing, as Michael agreed to pay $410,000 to Sunbury to acquire WVLY.
There is no broker or finder associated with this deal, which now awaits FCC approval.
Serving once again as K-LOVE’s legal counsel in front of the FCC is Paige Fronabarger with Wilkinson Barker Knauer.
