The latest Media Monitors Spot Ten TV reports are out for broadcast and cable activity by spot play count for the week ending April 21, and it shows that the auto insurance category remains a hot one — even as GEICO works behind the scenes on new campaigns that have yet to hit the marketplace.

Progressive is again the leader at Spot Cable, now that tax season has ended and, as such, Turbo Tax will disappear until early 2025 as a Spot Cable advertiser.

Progressive’s effort are only slightly larger than Burger King, which seeks growth after noticeable erosion of its footprint in areas including Central California and Arizona.

The QSR category also sees Domino’s remain strong, as footwear brand Skechers is No. 3 by spot play.

The Spot Television report shows Progressive is No. 3 by play count, with Dupixent again dominating on broadcast TV. Meanwhile, Skechers is a player here too, while Morgan & Morgan is the clear leader among accident attorneys.

Lastly, a new effort from oral care brand Sensodyne makes the Spot Ten TV report.
