It’s a Class A FM offering a simulcast of an AM bringing Classic Country programming to the Odessa, Tex., area. Soon, that simulcast could come to a close.
Why? The FM is being sold.
KTXO-FM 94.7, licensed to the tiny oil town of Goldsmith, Tex., is being spun by Bruce Campbell-led Campbell Craft Company to La Hacienda Entertainment Inc.
The buyer is 100% owned by U.S. citizen Manuel Herrera, who is agreeing to pay $250,000 for KTXO-FM. A $5,000 downpayment has been made to Campbell, and the remainder is to be paid in full at closing.
Serving as the legal counsel in this transaction is Cary S. Tepper, the Bethesda, Md.-based lawyer.
The transaction includes the ERI Lamba tuned tower and guy wires, and ERI FM broadcast antenna. Assumed contracts include a lease for the station’s tower site, valued at $708.33 monthly.
