In late September, it named its new Chief of Marketing, inbound from Latin World Entertainment Licensing, where she served as its President.

Now, Hope Media Group — the religious broadcast entity created with the merger of the parent of KSBJ in Houston with Way Media — has a new VP of National Operations.

Taking the role is Brian Driver.

It’s a big promotion for Driver, who since 2012 has served as the Operations Manager and, later, General manager for WAYA-FM 100.9 in the Charleston, S.C., market.

Along with continuing his work with WAYA, he will take on national responsibilities across Alabama, Indiana, Kentucky and Southwest Florida.

Hope Media Group Chief of Media Operations Jim Marshall said, “Brian has demonstrated a willingness to go above and beyond to serve the listeners of his community. In the broader industry, he’s proven himself to be a solutions-oriented pro that has a heart for the mission. I’m thrilled to have his influence nationwide.”

Driver added, “I am so excited to further my role with Hope Media Group! We have an incredible group of people that I am looking forward to working with in a more ongoing basis while we continue to change the lives of our listeners and share the word and love of Jesus with them.”
