A broadcast technology company known for its body-worn microphones is expanding its international presence a bit further by appointing a VP of Sales for Europe, the Middle East and Asia. Earning the role is an individual with 30+ years of pro audio industry and broadcast sector experience.
Taking the role at Point Source Audio is Anthony Wilkins, and the company says the move highlights its “strategic brand expansion and the enhanced focus it is placing on market development in the region.”
Wilkins reports to Point Source audio President/CEO and co-founder James Lamb. He points to Wilkins’ experience and track record in the industry and says the company is “certain he will help our EMEA team achieve even more success in the future.”
Wilkins, whose resume includes stops at Sony, Jünger Audio, Focusrite and Calrec, says he’s “delighted to be joining Point Source Audio. We have got some fantastic products and multiple patents. Point Source Audio is an innovative and established player in the microphone market with offerings that make a compelling argument to every type of user. I can see a great opportunity to build on what we have already achieved in this region and look forward to helping the business to grow in the key EMEA territory.”
