A Minnesota LPTV Deal Comes With Resolution

A Jackson, Minn., association is moving ahead with the transfer of control of a group of low-power television facilities in the state to a not-for-profit cooperative comprised of 12 directors.


The agreement gives the Cooperative Television Association of Southern Minnesota of Mankato, Minn., control of the following stations:

The party parting ways with the six LPTVs, five of which are TV translators, is the Federated Rural Electric Association.

Serving as the legal counsel handling the FCC filings for this change of control is Cary Tepper of Tepper Law Firm in Bethesda, Md.
