He’s at the helm of an international software company that helps broadcasters create radio through such products including the PlayoutONE automation system with WebVT for remote broadcasting. In February 2018, he first gained attention for engineering one of the first radio station acquisitions that saw the FCC go beyond its 20% foreign ownership limit.

Now, Briton Ricki Lee and his wife, a Polish citizen, are selling their interest in a licensee they had partnered with another couple with.

On April 28, a Membership Interest Purchase Agreement was signed and resubmitted on Friday (5/16) for FCC regulatory approval that sees Border Media LLC, a 50/50 partnership between Lee and Hanna Maria Kaleta, sell its ownership stake to A&J Radio LLC.

That’s an entity with 50/50 control between Aaron and Jessica Ishmael.

The end result? Loud Media will be 100% owned by A&J Radio, with the Ishmaels agreeing to pay Lee and Kaleta $75,000 to take their stake in the licensee.

“We’re a family owned company, run by life long radio people and we love radio!” Loud Media states on its website. “We know that nothing comes close to radio’s convenience and influence when finding music you love.”

Loud Media’s stations are comprised of WATO-FM, WKVL-FM, WKCE-AM (and FM Translator W223DM), WGAP-FM & WVLZ-FM in the Knoxville market; KJMP-FM in Fort Collins-Greeley, Colo.; WABY-AM and W230DK in Albany, N.Y.; and WSSV-FM in Saratoga Springs, N.Y.
