After being distributed on DirecTV’s satellite service since 1994, it was announced in late December that NFL Sunday Ticket will be moving to YouTube starting next season.


Was this a wise investment by YouTube parent Alphabet Inc.? “Rather than jump to a quick conclusion,” MoffettNathanson Senior Analyst Michael Nathanson and his team have spent the past few weeks digging into the details of the deal to better understand the strategic and financial impact to YouTube.

What Nathanson has to say is hardly flattering.
