A Class B1 FM radio station and its Class C AM sibling are being sold, in a deal that sees Andrew Guest of Guest Technology & Brokerage serve as the exclusive broker.
Once the deal closes, following expected regulatory approval, High Impact Communications will no longer be the licensee.
That’s because High Impact, with Guest’s help, is selling WTON-AM 1240 & FM 94.3 in Staunton, Va., to Stu-Comm Inc. of Charlottesville.
Stu-Comm is paying $550,000 for the combo, with Gary Ratcliff signing off on the sale for High Impact.
Stu-Comm is a not-for-profit licensee, and operates WNRN — a unique Adult Alternative noncomm network heard across much of Virginia.
Serving as Stu-Comm’s legal counsel in the transaction is David Oxenford of Wilkinson Barker Knauer LLP.
