A Good Christian Deal For Kristin Cantrell

On November 7, 2022, a Class A FM serving a portion of the Twin Tiers between New York and Pennsylvania went silent, as the station’s license expired due to a lack of its renewal. Nine days later, the station’s license was reinstated, saving it from disappearing forever.

Now, this station is being acquired by a Kentucky-headquartered radio group with a formidable collection of properties across the Keystone State, headed by Kristin Cantrell.

WLIH-FM 107.1 in Whitneyville, Pa., serving Mansfield and Wellsboro, Pa., along U.S. Highway 6, is being acquired by Seven Mountains Media from Good Christian Radio Broadcasting.

A Time Brokerage Agreement went into effect on July 31, as part of a deal valued at $125,000.

A $10,000 cash deposit has been made to the seller, which is represented in this deal by A. Wray Fitch of Gammon & Grange P.C.

Nancy Ory of Lerman Senter served as Seven Mountains’ legal counsel for this transaction.

With WLIH, Seven Mountains Media will add a seventh FM frequency to the Mansfield area, due south of the Corning-Elmira, N.Y., region, pairing it with WOGA-FM 92.3, W228DM at 93.5 MHz, and W250BI, which rebroadcasts WMTT-FM “The Met” in Mansfield; and with WNBT “Bigfoot Country,” FM translator W226CG at 93.1 MHz, and a rebroadcast service of WNKI “Wink 106” at 107.9 MHz in Wellsboro.
