An unbuilt low-power TV station licensed to a Florida surfing mecca in Indian River County is now the property of Windsong Communications.

The deal, which saw Bob Heymann of the Chicago office of Media Services Group serve as the exclusive broker for the seller, has closed.

Windsong now holds the CP for W15EO-D in Sebastian, Fla.

It obtained the future station from DTV America 1, the entity led by John Kyle II, for $50,000.

Windsong is best known as a company offering businesses the opportunity to lease a  broadcast television channel.

Until now, Houston and Beaumont, Tex., and Lake Charles, La., have been the DMAs of focus for Windsong.

While W15EO-D is officially a West Palm Beach DMA property, given Sebastian’s presence in that TV market, service contour maps show a signal with a northerly direction covering Melbourne and Palm Bay. These cities are in the Orlando DMA.
