In the waning days of the Biden Administration, the Acting Chief of the FCC’s Media Bureau, under the direction of soon-to-be-exiting Chairwoman Jessica Rosenworcel, dismissed a Petition to Deny the license renewal of a FOX Television Stations property on the grounds that it aired content provided by FOX News Channel during the 2020 U.S. Presidential Election cycle it believed to be false and misleading.
Now, the group behind that petition, fueled by a former FOX and ABC executive, is appealing the Commission’s dismissal of its fight.
