Two AM radio stations, a pair of FM translators and a 6kw Class A FM serving the Fort Smith, Ark., area and neighboring communities in Oklahoma are being put in the hands of a pair of individuals posed to take a 50/50 stake in the properties.

What does this mean for “Clean Local Radio”?

That will be up to Black Diamond Properties and Edwin and Melinda Martin.

They’ve agreed to acquire KXMX-FM 105.1 in Muldrow, Okla.; KAGE-AM in Van Buren, Ark.; KFSW-AM in Fort Smith, Ark.; and FM translators K244FJ and K254AM from Darren Girdner.

A $1.3 million purchase price has been agreed upon, and the full amount is due at closing, per the terms of an asset purchase agreement submitted Wednesday for FCC approval.

Serving as the legal counsel representing both parties in this transaction is Allan G. Moskowitz.
