Fox Corporation’s free ad-supported streaming television “FAST” service has inked a deal with iHeartMedia that brings a popular nationally syndicated radio show targeting fans of hip-hop and R&B to viewers.
This means the “The Breakfast Club” won’t only be heard on WWPR “Power 105.1” in New York and affiliates that get the Premiere Networks-syndicated audio offering. That’s because a video version of the show is being delivered exclusively to Tubi consumers.
“The Breakfast Club” features hosts DJ Envy, Charlamagne Tha God, and Jess Hilarious, and has welcomed presidential politicians as well as top-flight African American entertainers and singers.
“‘The Breakfast Club’ transcends morning shows with honest conversations at the heart of culture,” said Tubi Chief Content Officer Adam Lewinson. “At the core of our partnership with iHeartMedia is a shared interest in content that reflects culture and a passion to bring this influential and entertaining show to Tubi’s massive audience for even more fans to discover.”
John Sykes, President of Entertainment Enterprises for iHeartMedia, says the new partnership with Tubi “extends the reach of this iconic franchise to new TV audiences everywhere.”
