A Digital Spinoff Of Matrix’s Media Ad Sales Summit Arrives

MIAMI BEACH — Matrix‘s fifth Media Ad Sales Summit, held immediately after the NATPE Miami affair at the Nobu Eden Roc Resort, has officially been shelved for January 2021.


And, as many organizations have elected to do, the event’s contents and discussions are shifting to a virtual platform.

There’s one key difference: Content will be shifting to a monthly webinar series that begins in one month.

Introducing the Media Ad Sales Summit Candid Conversation Series, which bows September 22 at 2pm Eastern.

Each monthly Candid Conversation will last approximately 30 to 40 minutes. Topics will include Programmatic Ad Sales, ATSC 3.0, Dynamic Pricing, Ad Sales Automation & AI, and more.

The opening Candid Conversation, “Addressable Advertising” will be moderated by Matrix Chief Revenue Officer Brenda Hetrick. Panelists include AMC Networks President of Advertising Sales & Partnerships Kim Kelleher, Comcast SVP of Strategy & Operations Gina Mingioni, and Kelly Abcarian, the GM of Niesen’s Advanced Video Advertising Group.

Conversations are scheduled for the third Tuesday of each month at 2pm Eastern through April 2021.

Matrix is hoping to host an in-person event upon its conclusion in New York in May 2021.
