A Corus Executive, Once A CHUM Television RVP, Is Retiring

TORONTO — From November 2001 through January 2008 he served as a CHUM Television RVP responsible for the management of CityTV and CTV stations serving Vancouver. Since then, he’s been a leader of radio stations for Astral Media, and most recently as a Senior VP and Head of Audio for Corus Entertainment.


Now, Brad Phillips is readying for retirement.

 

 

Phillips’ will exit Corus in early August, concluding a career that saw him join the company in November 2012 as General Manager of CKNW-AM, CKGO-AM, CFOX-FM and CFMI-FM in Vancouver. In April 2016, he was promoted to VP for Corus Radio West, adding leadership of the company’s Calgary, Edmonton and Winnipeg radio properties.

Early career roles include serving as GM of CHUM-AM & FM in Toronto from September 1996 through June 2001.
