An AM/FM combo and an FM translator serving a longtime hub of Hispanics in Southern New Jersey will soon wind up in the hands of the man behind The Voice Radio Network, thanks to a transaction that’s just been submitted to the FCC for its regulatory approval.
WMIZ-AM, WVLT-FM and W225DK in Vineland, N.J., are being sold by Clear Communications to The Voice, led by Edwin Andrade.
A $350,000 purchase price has been agreed to. A $50,000 deposit is being held by Miller and Neely P.C. The remainder is to be paid in cash at closing.
With this transaction, The Voice builds to a group of stations comprised of WOCQ-AM 1510 in Salem, N.J.; WNJE-AM 920 in Trenton, N.J.; and WIFI-AM 1460 in Florence, N.J.
There is no broker or finder involved in this deal.
