As of today, some 18 NBCUniversal-produced free ad-supported streaming television (“FAST”) channels are coming to subscribers of the “sports-first” virtual MVPD service that’s using to stop Venu Sports from ever reaching the starting line.
This puts four Telemundo-aligned Spanish-language channels immediately in the hands of Fubo users.
Some14 additional channels will be coming soon to all Fubo English-language plans, Fubo says.
Matt Farina, SVP of NBCUniversal content distribution, cheered the collaboration, which he says enables NBCU “to connect with our longtime fans while also introducing new viewers to our diverse library of content.”
The FAST channels available as of today across all Fubo channel plans are news-focused Noticias Telemundo Ahora and Telemundo al Dia and scripted content offerings Telemundo Romance and Telemundo Acción, the latter of which features “fast-paced crime telenovelas.”
Coming at the undisclosed later date to all English-language channel plans are NBC Sports, GolfPass, Dateline 24/7, Oxygen True Crime Archives, American Crimes, TODAY All Day, Million Dollar Listing Vault, E! Keeping Up, SNL Vault, Real Housewives Vault, Top Chef Vault, Bravo Vault, Rotten Tomatoes and NBC LX Home.
