Deltatre, known for its streaming, digital, data and graphics technology products used by sports, media and entertainment organizations, has finalized a multi-year partnership extension with the NBA’s Dallas Mavericks to provide the technology behind the pro basketball team’s now officially rebranded OTT service, MavsTV+.
MavsTV+ offers live games along with original and shoulder programming, including five new series for the 2026-27 season.
As part of the agreement, the Dallas Mavericks will draw on Deltatre’s VESPER OTT platform and its strategy and growth services tools to build on their use of first-party data and insights. This, Deltatre says, creates further opportunities for fan engagement and commercial growth across advertising, pricing, and fan acquisition and retention programs.
For Dallas Mavericks Sr. VP of Business Development Ronnie Fauss, “We made a clear decision to own the streaming experience we deliver to our fans, and we’re glad we did. We’ve seen a significant uptick in viewership and identified fans we previously could not see. Deltatre has been a true extension of our organization, helping us navigate the complexities of DTC, and we’re excited for the years ahead.”
Deltatre Chief Revenue Officer Peter Bellamy added, “Rights holders are now seeing the value of a diversified distribution mix, and our role is to ensure they can build commercially successful DTC relationships underpinned by world-class digital and OTT ecosystems, complemented by highly specialized services. We’re proud to partner with the Mavs, not just on the technology, but across the strategy layer as well.”
MavsTV+ can be accessed via Mavs.com/stream on web browsers, within the Mavs mobile app, or on connected devices, including Apple tvOS, Android TV, Fire TV, Roku, and LG TV. MavsTV+ is also accessible through the NBA App, NBA.com, and all NBA-supported platforms.
