Radio Hall of Fame Inducts 2026 Honorees

CHICAGO — The Radio Hall of Fame has inducted its 2026 class of honorees, with a ceremony and dinner honoring eight notables from across the AM and FM radio dial at the Fairmont Chicago in Millennium Park.


Serving as Master of Ceremonies for the event was 2017 Radio Hall of Fame inductee Bobby Bones, the iHeartMedia syndicated radio personality heard on Country stations across the U.S.

The Class of 2026 Inductees are:

  • Boomer Esiason, the famed former National Football League player who can be heard on WFAN Radio in New York
  • Dennis Green, COO of Sun & Fun Media/Key Networks
  • Shotgun Tom Kelly, an afternoon air personality on SiriusXM’s ’60s Gold who has worked at KRTH “K-Earth 101” in Los Angeles and in San Diego radio across the last six decades.
  • Helen Little, midday host at WLTW-FM in New York
  • Rickey Smiley, the Reach Media-syndicated morning show host at Urban One
  • Charlie Van Dyke, a voiceover artist long-known for his radio hosting roles at such radio stations as K-Earth 101 and “93KHJ” in Los Angeles
  • Bob Pittman, Chairman/CEO of iHeartMedia
  • Fred Winston, a veteran Chicago radio personality

Radio Hall of Fame Co-Chairmen Kraig Kitchin and Dennis Green welcomed attendees with opening remarks. The ceremony also saw the appearance of Paul Harvey Aurandt Jr., son of radio legend Paul Harvey, who offered a special introductory tribute to the eight inductees.
