Delaware-headquartered AudioScience Inc. has expanded its partnership with MaxxKonnect, making the Josh Bohn-led entity the exclusive worldwide source for the AudioScience ASI2816 Streaming Radio Tuner, marketed by MaxxKonnect as the “RMT416.”
The expanded agreement follows the companies’ existing partnership in the United States and Canada and gives broadcasters worldwide a single source for RMT416 sales, application assistance, and technical support.

This expansion builds on what both companies do well and gives broadcasters a strong resource for the product from purchase through application and support.”
Bohn, who serves as President/CEO of The MaxxKonnect Group, added, “Broadcasters don’t just need another piece of hardware. They need to know how to deploy it, monitor with it, integrate it with the rest of the plant, and get somebody on the phone who understands what they’re trying to do. That’s why the RMT416 and partnership with ASI works.”
The RMT416 supports up to 16 tuners in a compact 1RU chassis, with configurable tuner modules for AM, FM, HD Radio™, DAB+, and Weather Band.
The platform provides simultaneous audio monitoring, network audio streaming via Icecast, SNMP monitoring, and alerting. The RMT416 also integrates with MaxxKonnect’s new MonitorMaxx monitoring platform, specifically StationGuard, allowing tuner status and alarms to become part of its broader centralized monitoring and notification system.
