The Ohio Valley Conference has renewed a partnership with Gray Media that allows it to broadcast collegiate league athletic events across 20 Gray markets in eight states, following a successful 2025-2026 academic season.
The agreement, which brings coverage of sports tied to Eastern Illinois University, Lindenwood University, Morehead State University, Southeast Missouri State University, Southern Illinois University Edwardsville, University of Southern Indiana, Tennessee State University, the University of Tennessee at Martin and Western Illinois University, once again features select men’s and women’s basketball matchups.
New for 2026-2027 are three men’s soccer, three women’s soccer and four volleyball contests this fall.
A list of basketball contests to broadcast on Gray stations will be announced at a later date, in addition to plans for spring sports coverage.
All of the matches across all sports will also be simulcast live nationally on ESPN+ and made available through the ESPN app minus digital blackouts, per the OVC’s multi-year contract with ESPN.
In markets where the OVC has team, Gray will broadcast the league’s sporting events on its Tennessee Valley Sports & Entertainment Network and Mid-South Sports & Entertainment Network, respectively.
The Tennessee Valley Sports & Entertainment Network can be found as an over-the-air channel in Nashville, Knoxville, and Chattanooga; the Mid-South Sports & Entertainment Network broadcasts in Memphis and Jackson, Tenn.
In addition, Gray’s Matrix Midwest broadcast offering in St. Louis and Cape Girardeau, Mo.; Gray’s Illinois stations in Champaign, Peoria, Quincy, and Rockford; Gray’s Indiana stations in Evansville, Ft. Wayne, South Bend, Lafayette and Terre Haute; and Gray’s Lexington, Ky., broadcast hub are all in the mix, with coverage linked to OVC conference schools located in those television markets.
