Yaman Coskun, the longtime radio industry creative specialist, has taken a post at BionicVO as part of an arrangement that sees his company become the exclusive business development partner for the company founded by Oink Ink Radio creator Dan Price.
Coskun has joined BionicVO as Director of Strategic Partnerships, as his Yaman Media Group is integrated into the Philadelphia-headquartered company known for its AI voice platform.
In his new roke, Coskun will be tasked with leading outreach across key verticals including advertising agencies, radio and podcast production, gaming studios, audiobook publishing and corporate training.
Coskun founded Yamanair Creative in 2001 and built it into a commercial creative provider for radio stations nationwide; he sold the company in 2017 to Compass Media Networks. Earlier in his career, Coskun helped launch iHeartMedia’s Creative Services Group, in 2004.
“We fell in love with BionicVO after trying every so-called AI audio platform out there,” Coskun said. “It is, by far, the most powerful and appropriate application of AI audio for seasoned media pros who understand the difference between a library of AI slop versus a roster of real talent.”
BionicVO launched in August, promoting its consent-based AI voice services. “Every voice on the platform belongs to a working professional actor who consented to the clone, and every time that voice is used, the actor is paid,” the company said.
Price commented, “Yaman Coskun is one of the most respected names in radio. His relationships, his instincts and his understanding of where this industry is heading make him the ideal partner to help us reach the audiences who will benefit most from what we’ve built. This is a significant moment for BionicVO.”
