0

Proposals for technical papers and panels are now being accepted for the 2027 NAB Broadcast Engineering and IT (BEIT) Conference, part of the 2027 NAB Show scheduled for April 4-7, 2027, at the Las Vegas Convention Center.

The NAB BEIT Conference brings together media technologists, broadcast engineers, IT developers, researchers, manufacturers, consultants and technical leaders responsible for the systems powering modern media. The program explores practical, current and emerging technologies across television, radio, streaming, production, distribution and the broader media and IT ecosystem.

Serving as BEIT Planning Committee Chair is Graham Media Group Director of Emerging Technologies Adam Simpson. He commented, “Our industry is adapting to fast technical change and shifting audience behavior at the same time, and the technologists doing that work have the clearest view of where it is going. BEIT is where they share it. We want to hear about the problems you are solving and what you have learned along the way.”

Papers selected for the NAB BEIT Conference will also be published in the “Proceedings of the 2027 NAB BEIT Conference” in April 2027.

Submissions should fall under at least one of the NAB BEIT Conference’s focus areas, including:

  • Analytics and Measurements
  • Audio and Video Technology
  • Artificial Intelligence
  • Broadcast Radio
  • Broadcast Television
  • Cybersecurity
  • Facility Design — On Premises or Cloud
  • Media Workflows
  • Positioning, Navigation and Timing (PNT) Using Terrestrial Broadcasting
  • Regulatory Issues
