Draper Media is telling viewers of the CBS, NBC and FOX affiliates serving the Delmarva Peninsula in Eastern Maryland, Delaware and Virginia’s Chincoteague region that broadcast transmissions are currently being hampered by what the company says is “a Verizon outage.”
In a statement posted to the websites of both WBOC-TV and WRDE-TV in Salisbury-Ocean City, Md., Draper said Verizon is aware of the outage and “is actively working to resolve the issue.”
An estimated time for restoration has not been announced, with Draper warning that network issues, based on Verizon information, could persist through Friday.
Viewers experiencing service problems are being asked to check Verizon’s network status and look for updates online.
