She’s best-known for her 1979 Disco-era classic “I Will Survive.” While that may not be the best mantra for broadcast radio and TV companies in the mid-2020s, it will most likely be a signature theme at the Anthem in Washington, D.C., come June 9 during the NAB Leadership Foundation’s Service to America Awards.
Gloria Gaynor will be the special musical guest at the 2026 Celebration of Service to America Awards.
The ceremony honors broadcasters for their outstanding commitment to public service.
In December 2025, Gaynor was recognized as part of the 48th class of Kennedy Center Honorees.
NABLF previously announced the Celebration of Service to America Award winners, as well as leadership honoree Gayle Benson and corporate leadership honoree Kidde.
