The trade organization and political advocacy group representing some 500 small and medium-sized MVPDs has shared the results of the reelection of officers to its Board of Directors and Executive Committee.
This sees America’s Communications Association, better known as ACA Connects, retain BOYCOM Vision President/CEO and co-founder Patricia Jo Boyers remain ACA Connects Chairman.
“I stand alongside a team of entrepreneurs who lead their companies and communities with old-fashioned grit and determination,” she said. “Together, we are driving strong advocacy and real results to keep America #RuralBroadbandStrong … I look forward to the years ahead as we build on this momentum and continue making our heard in Washington, D.C., and beyond.”
Officers will serve a two-year term concluding in May 2028. In addition to Boyers, the following positions were affirmed:
- Vice Chairman – John Reardon, President and CEO at Schurz Communications, Inc.
- Treasurer – John Gdovin, Executive Vice President and Chief Administrative Officer at Astound
- Secretary – John Barrett, Vice President of Government Affairs at Great Plains Communications
Tom Larsen, Senior Vice President and General Counsel at Mediacom Communications, and Drew Petersen, Senior Vice President of Corporate Affairs at TDS Telecom, were also approved to serve again on the Executive Committee on the Board of Directors.
