Super Hi-Fi Names a Radio Programming Services Head

The broadcast technology company leading AI-powered services opportunities for both radio and podcasting content creators and distributors has appointed a Director of Radio Programming Services. It is an individual who has a Marconi and has decades of experience in the music and radio industries.


Taking the post at Super Hi-Fi is Bo Matthews.

“With over two decades of experience in the entertainment, media, and music industries, Matthews brings a wealth of knowledge and a track record of innovation that aligns perfectly with Super Hi-Fi’s mission to transform the radio industry,” the company says.

In this new role, Matthews and his team will work closely with broadcast radio companies and their on-air talent, “ensuring that Super Hi-Fi’s radio solutions faithfully express the creative intent of program directors.”

Legally known as Alex Gutierrez, Mr. Matthews served as SVP of Programming for Alpha Media in San Jose until July. He’s also overseen Alpha Media’s Canton and Dayton, Ohio, radio stations. Matthews also spent several years at iHeartMedia, working in such markets as Fort Myers-Naples; Youngstown, Ohio; and in Cincinnati, where he was SVP/Programming for the company.
