A broadcast radio company headed by Roscoe Miller, who is based in Greenville, Ala., is agreeing to add an AM radio station and its companion FM translator serving the small city of Ozark, Ala., as well as a Class A FM covering Fort Rucker.

Who is the seller? A Missouri-based radio broadcasting company.

That would be Dockins Communications Inc., led by Fred Dockins.

And, he’s signed off on an asset sale agreement that will put WOZK-AM & WOAB-FM in Ozark, Ala., in the hands of Miller’s Autaugaville Radio Inc.

A $160,000 purchase price has been agreed to, with a $100,000 escrow deposit being held by attorney A. Wesley Pitters in Montgomery, Ala.

Beth Griffin-led Griffin Media and Chris Johnson co-brokered this transaction, representing Dockins.

Miller’s legal counsel in this transaction is Cary Tepper of Tepper Law Firm in Bethesda, Md.

WOAB is a Class A FM at 104.9 MHz, serving an area of the Dothan market centered near Fort Rucker. WOZK’s AM signal mirrors that of WOAB, with in-car coverage in Troy and Dothan but no city-grade signal in either municipality.
