The 2024 Olympics may still be more than a year away, but NBCUniversal has already started their first multi-platform campaign for the Paris games. “Save the Date” aims to use various promotional channels and collaboration with NBC-affiliated entertainers to boost the TV, Cable, and streaming event starting July 26 next year.

The campaign features a commercial spot starring country singer Dolly Parton, WWE superstar Roman Reigns, and a minion. In addition to the ad, NBC’s Today, which has been a cornerstone of the network’s Olympics coverage, hosted a segment featuring interviews with athletes, while providing coverage from Paris.

The “Save the Date” campaign is part of NBCUniversal’s broader “Symphony” advertising effort, which brings together all divisions of the company to promote key programming or strategic initiatives. This comprehensive approach aims for a wide audience across various platforms, including TV, digital, and social media. The 2024 Olympics will be broadcast on NBC and its other cable other networks, as well as live-streamed on NBCUniversal’s Peacock.
