WASHINGTON, D.C. — Last week, the NAB released new radio spots, digital ads and talking points as part of a “Depend on AM” campaign encouraging automakers to keep AM radio in cars.
Since then, the nation’s chief lobbying organization says hundreds of thousands of consumers of kHz-band radio stations have written to Members of Congress imploring them to use their power to save a broadcast media that’s 101 years old — and still vitally important in locales as diverse as Cincinnati and Casper, Wyo.
