Saga Communications has wasted no time in informing analysts and shareholders as to when it will unveil its first quarter 2023 fiscal report card.
The Q1 report from the pure-play radio broadcasting company will be distributed at 9am Eastern on May 3. A conference call hosted by CEO Chris Forgy and CFO Sam Bush will be held at 11am Eastern.
The earnings report from Saga will come following a period of some of Saga’s lowest closing prices for its NYSE-traded stock since the start of 2022. However, even with SGA down from $38.75 five years ago to mid-$22 levels seen today, Saga’s fundamentals are among the strongest among all publicly traded radio broadcasting companies.
Furthermore, the notice from Saga about its Q1 2023 release date comes as Urban One has yet to announce when it will share its Q4 and year-end 2022 financial data. And, as has been typical in recent quarters, Spanish Broadcasting System (SBS) is expected to release its Q4 and year-end 2022 results next week.
