In New York State, the Schoharie County seat is the small city of Cobleskill, home to a university and within the vast Albany-Schenectady-Troy DMA.
That’s perhaps the biggest reason why Ron Bruno has just agreed to acquire a low-power TV station licensed to this burgh.
Bruno-led Foxwood Partners LLC of Pittsburgh is agreeing to purchase WUCB-LD 32, licensed to Spirit Broadcasting and with call letters reflecting “Upstate Christian Broadcasting.”
With new equipment in place thanks to the FCC’s post-spectrum auction repack, Bruno is scoring the low-power TV property for $10,000.
There is no broker or finder associated with this transaction, which sees President Michael Lent signing off on the sale by Spirit.
