It’s been a rather difficult year for the management team at fuboTV Inc., the streaming TV service provider that has made live sports programming the key reason to pony up a subscription. With veteran media financial analyst John Janedis in the role of CFO, Fubo TV is presently recovering from a cyberattack that impacted viewership of a 2022 FIFA World Cup semi-final match. The incident pushed FUBO shares to a new all-time low.
The incident came just days after financial blog Simply Wall St. questioned whether investing in FUBO was a smart idea.
On a positive note, FuboTV and the regional sports network home to the Colorado Avalanche and Denver Nuggets, Altitude Sports, in October secured a multi-year carriage agreement that will expand TV coverage of both teams. Now, there’s more good news for FUBO, and it involves The E.W. Scripps Co.
