Jive Walkin’: A Class A From A Historic Radio Site Is Spun

It emanates a “mighty 10 watts of power from a sheep ranch on the western edge of the North American continental plate.” And, it broadcasts from the exact spot, it claims, where radio pioneer Guglielmo Marconi built a radio tower in 1914 that received signals from ocean-going vessels.


Now, this station known to locals as “Jive Radio” is being transferred to a new licensee.
