A Capital Sale For An Oregon AM

0

On Feb. 26, 2019, LeRoy Dittman, sole owner of Capitol Broadcasting Inc. of Salem, Ore., passed away.

Now, his estate is passing on ownership of his AM radio station in the Oregon state capital in a deal that’s just been filed with the FCC.

The station trading hands is Full Service KBZY-AM 1490, a 1kw Class C with 1 tower.

It is being sold for $50,000 to Rise 95 LLC, a wholly owned operation led by Louis Risewick, of Salem.

He does not have interest in any other broadcast property.

The “secured party,” however, is NCJ Enterprises Inc. That’s the Eugene, Ore., operation led by John C. Fisher.
