Fifteen years ago, Scott Carlin was settling into his two-month old role as President of Domestic Television Distribution at HBO, at a time when The Sopranos and Sex & the City gave the premium cable TV network an edge over a variety of pre-OTT video programming sources.
It’s been a decade since he’s been at HBO, and spent the last 10 years as the founder of his SantaBu Entertainment and Soul–Centered Media.
In this role, he’s been a strategic advisor for Dave Lougee, the Chairman/CEO of TEGNA.
Now, this 1978 University of Colorado J-School grad, with a M.A. in Spiritual Psychology earned at the “University of Santa Monica” during his tenure at HBO is joining a top TV industry research consultancy.
