DELRAY BEACH, FLA. — There are no clouds in the sky some eight hours’ drive to the northwest, in Bay County and the towns surrounding Panama City Beach. But, sadly, there is plenty of darkness with respect to local broadcast media.
Hurricane Michael hit radio and TV stations hard, and according to the most up-to-date Communications Status Report from the FCC, cell towers in Bay County were also largely non-operational on Thursday.
