For the second straight trading session, U.S. financial markets had a split personality, as the Dow Jones Industrial Average slipped 31.85, to 19,855.53 and the Nasdaq Composite index grew 20 points, to 5,551.82.
Among the key decliners was Tribune Media, which slid $1.04, to $35.96.
Meanwhile, CBS Corp. dipped 79 cents, to $62.69, and pink sheeter iHeart was down just shy of five cents, to $1.12.
The RBR Radio Index rose 1.512, or 0.25%, to 604.523.
The TVBR Television Index fell 4.112, or 0.42%, to 966.683.
