Broadcast stocks were all over the place during the week of May 11-15. More stocks were down than up, and the swings were wider for radio than for television stocks we follow. But one company stood out.
The worst aspect of the week: Loser outnumbered winners 11-6.
But it was a fabulous week from Cumulus, which turned around a stock that had been losing value since March. It enjoyed a double digit gain of 10.7%. SBS and Radio One also had good weeks.
Saga, Emmis and Salem shed value during the week.
On the TV side, the nod for best performer went to Fox, with a 3.66% gain.
The roughest week was had by Nexstar, and it wasn’t all that horrific with only a loss of 2.63%
