Stories were already circulating to the effect that lawyers at DOJ were disinclined to allow the mega cable merger between Comcast and Time Warner Cable to go through. Now staff at the FCC is said to be leaning the same way. Update: Bloomberg is reporting Comcast may walk away from the deal.
According to a Hollywood Reporter story, the FCC is considering referring the transaction to an administrative law judge.
