SoldIf you can’t figure out what this headline refers to, you may want to consult with Vanna White, or perhaps buy a vowel or two. For those without the time or inclination, we’ll just spell it out – Sajak Broadcasting is selling WTTR-AM Westminster MD.

Pat Sajak is of course the well-known host of Wheel of Fortune. Not as many people know that he has long held radio interests in Maryland. He is a resident of the state, living in the area of the state’s capital of Annapolis, where he owns WNAV-AM.

WTTR is north of there. In fact, it serves Oldies – “The Greatest Hits of All Time” – to the residents of unrated territory to the northwest of Baltimore and northeast of Frederick, putting a fringe signal over half of the former and all of the latter.

The buyer is Hilltop Communications LLC, headed by Jeffrey Laird and William J. Laird Jr.

The price will be $325K, with $255K of that in the form of seller paper.

WTTR is a Class B on 1470 kHz with 1 kW-U, DAN.
