Vita Coco, the country’s best-selling fresh coconut water brand, announced a new partnership with Texas Rangers’ Josh Hamilton. Hamilton is the Rangers’ star outfielder and a four-time MLB All Star and 2010 American League MVP. Hamilton will join Boston Red Sox second baseman Dustin Pedroia and 11-time ASP World Surfing Champion Kelly Slater as faces for the Vita Coco brand. The goal of Vita Coco’s growing pro athlete roster: to educate consumers about the importance of natural hydration. “Hydrate naturally” is the key campaign message in Vita Coco’s ongoing advertising.

Hamilton will be featured prominently in Vita Coco’s U.S. campaign, appearing in billboard, radio, digital and in-store advertising and in digital/social media and PR programs starting this summer.

Vita Coco has found a loyal following among professional and amateur athletes “The authenticity of this partnership is that Josh drinks Vita Coco as part of his training and he’s having an incredible season,” says Vita Coco ceo and co-founder Michael Kirban. “We’re thrilled that more and more world-class athletes have made Vita Coco their choice for natural hydration before, during and after a game.”
