With Connoisseur Media moving forward with the proposed acquisition of Alpha Media’s radio stations, a pair of leadership changes will take effect June 9 that the company says reflect its “commitment to continuity, growth, and the integration” of new properties into the Connoisseur family.

For Connoisseur Chief Operating Officer David Bevins, overseeing Long Island operations will come to an end after five years. He’ll now focus on his corporate responsibilities and major corporate initiatives, taking a key role in managing the transition of Alpha Media into Connoisseur Media.

As such, Kristin Okesson, currently the Senior Vice President and Market Manager of Connoisseur Connecticut, will expand her responsibilities to now oversee the company’s Long Island radio stations.

“Okesson brings decades of experience, a deep understanding of local suburban New York market dynamics, and a proven track record of audience engagement, operational excellence along with cultivating client and community relationships,” Connoisseur noted in a statement released Thursday.

“These leadership changes reflect our confidence in our team and our vision for Connoisseur’s future,” said Jeff Warshaw, CEO of Connoisseur Media. “Kristin and David exemplify the kind of forward-thinking, community-driven leadership that defines our brand. As we grow, we are excited to have their expertise guiding both our legacy markets and new additions.”
