2012 Emmy Nominations announced


Emmy AwardOn Thursday, Kerry Washington and Jimmy Kimmel announced nominees for the 64th annual primetime Emmys. American Horror Story tied Mad Men with the most mentions, 17. Early mentions reportedly went to Mad Men, Downton Abbey and Homeland for outstanding drama series. Big Bang Theory (of course), Girls and Veep are up for outstanding comedy series.
